A message for you!

“Hello to all my European friends! I love the idea of telling you a little about me and my “world”, while waiting to meet you all on Sunday October 27th, at Casa Cenina….
As you already know, my name is Stacy Nash and I was born and raised in a small town outside of Indianapolis (yes, that Indianapolis: the city of the Formula 1 circuit!), in Indiana. My husband, Cory, is a police officer in the city of Indianapolis and we have 3 children: Michael, Will and Taylor. The house is not as full as it used to be with 2 children off to college but I am blessed to have my Mom live with us. She is my pattern maker and shipper and I couldn't do this without her. How did I get started stitching? Well, this could be a long story... But I will try to keep it short and sweet.
I would have to start this story by giving credit to all the women in my life who have inspired me. My Great-Grandmother was the best cook and she loved to work with her hands. As a small child I would sit at her feet and watch her stitch. And to this day stitching is very calming and brings back memories of her. My Grandmother was a hard worker and had the most beautiful gardens. She taught me the value of hard work. I spent my summers helping her tend the gardens and enjoying the fruits of our labor. My Mom, Marlene, inspired me to be creative.
We enjoyed years of having an antique store together and traveling the countryside looking for things to fill it. She taught me the 3 or 5 rule of decorating and she helped create the style I have today.
And finally my Mother-in-law, Nona, never lets me forget to be a good person and to always have fun. Sometimes I need a little reminder and I can always count on her. Without all these women I wouldn't be the person I am today with the style that I have created. My designs are inspired by family, friends and travels”.
