A shabby and chic product: the Primitives

Hello everybody! During these well-deserved Christmas Holidays we want you to know something more about these very particular charts: the Primitives.
What are they about? You will discover it very soon, as here at Casa Cenina we like extending the atmosphere of Christmas surprises also in the other periods of the year...
However, just in order to mark a good begin, let's start with the description of these products by her designer Silvia.
The Primitives Stitches are embroideries and creations with simple and elegant designs which warm the heart and the surroundings thanks to their personality.
Each design is inspired by everyday things, it is originated from a country soul, from the passion for colors and fabrics, from the love for nature and the will to celebrate each season. Embroidering primitives means creating special objects in country style with a shabby touch and a lot of fantasy. This technique can be easily coupled with patchwork and creative sewing in order to create cushions, pannels, hearts and stars all in country style, curtains, folk pictures and an infinity of other ideas which will make your embroidery unique.
You can use linen, cotton or also jute, by following the natural simplicity of the American country from which they are originated. Or, if you prefer, you can embroider with a more researched style by using cotton and finer fabrics.
Embroidering the Primitives is easy, funny and creative and the fabric can be aged and perfumed through easy techniques, whereas thanks to woolfelt padding, the embroidery can assume a relief which will make it even more real.

Sono molto interessata a questa nuova tecnica che ho potuto osservare in alcune riviste americane country ma che non ho mai avuto la possibilità di approfondire. Se avete a disposizione schemi, idee e tecniche di realizzazione Vi pregherei di metterle a disposizione.

Brava Silvia si vede che sei molto "creatives" e molto brava, io probabilmente nn ci riuscirei mai ma mi piace ammirarare le capacità altrui. ti abbraccio (perchè già ci conosciamo anche se nn di persona)e ti auguro un 2010 strafantastico!!! SUSY P.

Che belli! Ho visto questa tecnica su vari blog, mi piace moltissimo ma non ho mai provato anche perchè non so da che parte cominciare......quindi aspetto con ansia ........ ciaoooooooooooooo
