Goodbye and… see you for a new tutorial!
With these three videos my personal video-course is over and I want to thank all of you from the bottom of my heart for all the comments you posted and for the enthusiasm you have shown to me! As I've had already the occasion to say in some of my answers, enthusiasm is for me the first "ingredient" to success not only in the appliqué and patchwork art but, more generally, in all little and big challenges which daily life presents to each of us
The thing which mostly satisfied me and that it is right to let you know is the fact that I was thinking of you while I was making my videos. I just imagined that you were watching me and that you were doing what you love. These videos are for all of you: the most expert ones who maybe have found some more hints, notwithstanding their well-known craft and technique, and the beginners who maybe have found me over-meticulous but useful too. Well, it doesn't matter if you are now better with the appliqué. Rather, it is fundamental that you maintain your enthusiasm and curiosity which have brought you here
If time is enough, I promise I'll make some more video-tutorials… But, in any case, whenever you have some doubts on you quilting abilities, always remind this wonderful sentence by Giuseppe Pontiggia who was both a writer and a great teacher: "It is not essential what you know, but what you are". And we are enthusiastic people. To all of you I wish from the bottom of my heart to continue like this…
