Abit.Ar: Thank you everybody!

After a few days of silence - at least on the web! - here we are, back again from the Abit.Ar fair with our report.. less than 48 hours ago finished the 5-days-long event, which you can probably guess, is the cause of these more quiet days but we know we can count on your understanding!!

The bet this time was pretty big: playing at home, in Arezzo, Casa Cenina's home city - in a fair not strictly dedicated but somehow related (with Wedding and Home Decor themed stands) to hobbies and crafting, and most of all the location: Central Italy, where fairs are rarely dedicated to our field.. all this surrounded my an enormous stand - almost 260 mq entirely dedicated to us!! - we prepared in really record time, picking products from our huge warehouse

Even so, today, "at the end of the fair", only the upsides remain: the satisfied expressions of our customers, who came to meet us, and the surprised ones, of those who met us for the first time ..together with a whole new world of products to try out and craft with their own hands

The wavering looks, lost among so many products "because it's hard to pick one.. everything is so beautiful!" of our girls and ladies.. the resigned (but never bored) looks of husbands and boyfriends.. sat on the two benches we placed for them right in the middle of the mega-stand.. resting while their other half was lost among linens and printed fabrics.. and the kids sprinting and zigzagging in that "Cenina's Square" we had for stand, while moms enjoyed some time among books, kits and ribbons

Your questions: "will I be able to make this by myself?" "how do I stitch this?" "how can I cut this fabric straight?" "could you help me with matching colors?".

Our first thank you, for the answers to all the questions mentioned, goes to the smiles, helpfulness and ability of our experts at the Atelier Table: Francesca, Patrizia and Marta, always ready to explain and let you experience how intriguing and exiting it is to craft something with your own hands, putting together your own choice of threads and paper, with a sparkle of creativity.

The other thank you goes straight from our heart to all of you, for your support, your presence, even from far away cities (among many others, we had the pleasure of serving a lady from Como, and a great friend of ours from Naples!!), your patience when you had to wait a little and your sweet and comforting words when you saw us a bit tired

Because all this has a real, deeper meaning - even the "effort" of closing down for five days in a row, always after 10 PM, with proved legs and feet, and hoarse throats after the many hours spent talking about how to use this and that - knowing we shared our enthusiasm and passion, what comes first here in Casa Cenina.. together with the feeling we did something big.. which, who knows, one day might turn into something even bigger.. that day we'll be happy to meet your eyes and enthusiasm again!
