Our guest at the Festa del Ricamo 2008, Kate Hoyle has brought from England to Casa Cenina all the colors of her joyful kits by Bothy Threads.
In these days we have inserted on our catalog some new charts by Bothy Threads. We go from the little girls and little boys in their beds full of colors in Sleepover, just to the "Hobbies" series with vases of flowers and gardening objects. Cross-stitching, needlepoint, but, above all, a lot of nuanced threads!
Kate is a very pleasant and happy person, just as much as her charts! With her smile she told us of her family and work, which occupies her a lot. The designers are artists, of course, but they have the constance of the employees! Eight or more hours every day, facing a computer in order to create some charts and transform some colorful ideas into stitches.
As for Bothy Threads, then, they are not only charts, but full kits with threads, needles, fabric and specific instructions.
The most famous kit by Kate is Follow Me III°. Presented at the Festa del Ricamo 2008, it is still nowadays one of our best-seller!
