Brand new and colorful, from "far, far away"

Today, we're delighted to introduce you one of our "latest conquests" But, please do not misunderstand: we're talking of cross stitch charts!!! Even though, behind these lovely projects, easy and elegant at the same time, colored, though perfectly blended with each others there's the hand of a young and very nice designer from Malaysia, called Vinniey Tan!

Where're waiting for her very first delivery in these days and, in the meantime, we've asked her to tell us something about herself
When she graduated from art college - 17 years ago, she pointed out - she already knew that design was her calling, so she worked as a graphic designer in advertising and designing industry for a long time... Then, in 2009 she bought her first cross stitch kit ... And it was "love at first sight"!
Vinniey discovered her deepest vocation: that originating from the joy of creating with her own hands something that she has drawn, also

So, she designed her first cross stitch chart, with the title Cupcake Cottage, a mixture of sweetness and colors, communicating mirth at the very first glance, re-echoing the marzipan small houses of fairy tales and the tempting scents of any freshly-baked cake, to be decorated with all your love!

Since then on, Vinniey has gone on designing cross stitch designs "to fulfill my obsession with cross stitching and because I love to stitch my own designs", she said herself In about two years of time, this designer born in the Far East and grown up with a very "European" taste, as all her projects clearly show, including these ones: A partridge in a pear tree, Kitchen prayer, Three French Hens, Two turtle doves, has published a dozen projects, in spite of her busy schedule as a working mother (Vinniey has worked as a freelance graphic designer until this year) of two daughters.

In 2012, she decided to quit her advertising career definitively, to focus on the joys of stitching and designing cross stitch charts, drawing her inspirations not only on her past career and on her life as a mother too, to create little works of art able to communicate the joys and pleasures of life: music, little antique things, handwriting and drawing folk tradition and colors, of course.
