Brand new website, same old passion!

From now on, Casa Cenina is going to have a brand new look!
No doubt, you must have already noted it, for - even though our typical, soft pastel shades are still there, as usual broken up by strong burgundy, maroon and brown here and there - and our contents (with all our over 80,000 items on top!) keep on being displayed as well, the visual impact is quite different! Right from the graphic design and from what IT and web experts define with the word "usability": since restyling a website doesn't merely mean restyling its look, but, mainly, giving it a more refined and easily accessible, lighter structure
And under this new, "freshly package dress", that's exactly what's concealed: the careful work of many people, finally come to the online, end result.
Every new year starting brings forth a lot of news and, in this February 2012, at almost ten years from our birth, we'd like to be the ones to bring forth ourselves our greatest expectation, which is meant to turn things upside down, though only positively! No dramatic twist, don't worry, but "only" a more pleasant graphic look and an even more user-friendly interface: these were our starting points, when the whole thing got started, and they're the target that we've just achieved, like a sort of magic circle that, squaring and closing itself, has now also opened up a new view on the future of our story together
Seems so strange, to think that we were little more than a small forum/blog, when we stepped into this adventure, to then go on walking the way of expansion and development, to become a real, comprehensive e-commerce! We've been growing up and keeping ourselves up-to-date, even moving to a new and larger warehouse and widening our staff, too! But our ideal environment has always stayed the same: the web! And do you really think there might be a better place than the Internet, to always keep up with our era?!!?? So, here's the new Casa Cenina, conceived by our Monica and Giovanni and translated into graphic design terms by our young designer Francesca, with the help- in terms of contents, this time - of all of us: we've all played our part in this, for real, and now - if you pay enough attention - you'll see online a little piece of the all of us! From our restyled logo, to our nice "silhouette-girls", who are staying with you while you're shopping, everything is meant to go towards a more and more intuitive accessibility, because we know sometimes it isn't as easy as it may seem, to move in a world so full of beautiful things! However, that's just also why you should always bear in mind that, beyond what's virtual and behind your displays, there are - always well rooted- the pillars, which we have built our "Casa" upon: and each of these pillars has a name that you've learnt on the way and is always happy to answer your questions, share your enthusiasm and help you sort out any trouble you may have with "craft things"
This goes to you and us, to start our 2012 with this great piece of news, adding to the many others already scheduled, such as our contest "The Sampler of My Life", our "Festa del Ricamo" and even a brand new website, in a brand new language: Dutch!
