Hi everybody!
The New year has just begun and here we are - already - to share with you great and exciting news... Something that engaged us throughout the last weeks of 2012 and has now finally become reality, since the very first of January 2013
We're happy and proud to announce that Casa Cenina has now become the brand new, exclusive distributor of the amazing, American quilting battings from
Hobbs Bonded FibersThis American Company is headquartered in Texas and the "Lone Star State" is definitely the cradle of quilting and it's not by chance that the greatest trade exhibition of this industry, the Houston Quilt Market, is held here
Hobs is the undisputed, top manufacturer of quilting and creative sewing battings in the world and they boast over thirty years of tradition in this specific field. The company has always had the "Go Texan" seal: a sort of "PGI-Quality sector brand" assigned by the Texan Ministry of Agriculture that certifies the use of local raw materials: and, in fact, most of the cotton used by Hobbs comes exclusively by Texas.
This should already give you an idea of the manufacturing policy of this brand, which has also been one of the reasons driving us towards them and to look for drawing a direct distribution agreement with them, working hard to achieve this result and ensure all our quilters - but also all our friends who are gradually approaching this art (and they're getting more and more!), as well as the all of you who just love crafting with their needle, threads and sewing machines - a first-class range of battings, though at reasonable prices!
For - let's speak frankly - this is all what's all about :
paying for quality is fair, but it's fair to pay it right And this is why you can now find in Casa Cenina a brand new, wide range of top-quality battings, suitable for any use and for the most different applications, at an introductory price: because we do want you to be enthusiastic as we are, but we mainly would like you to understand - and touch from real - the difference between a top batting and any other batting
And we want you to start realizing it at reasonable costs, for this has always been our policy!
Right from the start, when we decided to invest in the segment of patchwork and quilting, we have been trying to always follow the "logics" of the homeland of this craft - the USA - where every mother has taught her daughter to quilt, every bride has quilted her own - small or large - wedding quilt, every grandma has let her granddaughters take the first steps into the world of needles, threads and printed cotton fabrics, handing down for generations this sewing art, right from the time of the Pilgrim Fathers, and making it proudly survive migration flows from all over the world, a ferocious civil war and a frightening recession, two world wars and a cold war, until carrying it into the New Millennium, with renewed impulse and ever-innovative proposals, that have proved able to always stand the test of time
We believe that European quilters deserve the best, too, just like American ones, for their projects, which they devote themselves to, spending their precious time and all the passion. And we also believe that everyone has the right to count on the best: so, just start enjoying these battings form Hobbs and we're going to soon speak about them again, more and more in detail, to offer you a step-by-step guide for your selection within the several lines we're going to carry May our best wishes for a wonderful New Year and New Quilt reach you all and... Stay tuned

imbottiture, ma come usarle? (suma39346) Date Added: 01/09/2013
Susanna
