Not only Dallas!

I was used to think about Texas as, probably, we all imagine it if we are in our 40s and we have grown up with the last black and white serials with cowboys and sheriffs and, astonished, when I was a child, by that television revolution brought by Dallas at the end of the 70s. Why? Well… as the land of the American oilmen, a little bit too boaster (all like the JR of Dallas; as the state of the “Lone Star”, the lonely star which is on the breast of strong sheriffs with their Colt and, more recently, as the State of the Union which has gave birth to two presidents - more or less debated, but here is not the place to make a political discussion! - of the US: Bush father and son.

Now, after a week spent inHouston, just discovering the latest news in the patchwork world, that image - I must admit - has changed and, if I think about Texas, I cannot but see wonderful cotton fabrics with fantasy motifs, witty machines for creative sewing and several amazing covers
Yes: Casa Cenina was there also this time! We have crossed the Atlantic as to see from a closer point of view all the most important names of quilting, during the three days of the most known event in this sector in the United States: the Quilt Market in Houston, of course.
And, I guarantee it to you, it was worth it! The wonderful products of patchwork – which in Italy and a little bit in all Europe is less spread that in the USA - have convinced us even more that our choice to open our catalog to this creative technique is right: there is no limit to what fantasy cottons, well combined together, can create. So, once again we are working to reach some agreements which will allow us to bring to our House first and then in yours , these fabrics at the best prices and with them all that is around the fascinating universe of creative sewing: the most innovative tools, the softest threads, the funniest projects!
