Sewing one's style

Coudre & Broder pour elseWhen we were little girls we all loved sewing some dresses for our dolls. Maybe by stealing some cuts of fabric from our grandmothers and by adding here and there beads or laces just to add something very personal to our dresses. We all dreamed at least once to become fashion designers and to wear proudly a skirt or a jacket designed and created by us.
And a lot of us probably have become stylists or professional sewers or just dedicate their spare time to cutting and sewing.

To us the Dessain et Tolra publishing house has dedicated its series of volumes on embroidering and sewing projects to make dresses for both children and adults.

A lot of dresses for girls between 4 and 12 are in Style petite file by the Japanese designer Yoshiko Tsukiori. To even littler kids, actually newborn, have thought the designers Marianne Niney and Irène Lassus in Coudre et brode pour bebè. Irène Lassus herself is also the author of 9 patterns to sew and 16 motifs to embroider in Coudre & Broder pour "else". And finally to decorate your accessories and creates some unique and very personal objects, here are the suggestions by Maria O in Inspiration Japon.

Cutting, sewing, embroidery… All to wear something absolutely unique and totally in our style!
