The name "Duos" derives from the fact that each purchased pattern includes 2 ideas to embroider other than the chart, the bobbins and the clear detailed instructions. The fabric is not included, but we suggest you to use the DMC Aida 5,5points/cm or the linen DMC 11threads/cm. You can use these charts in order to customize cushions, tablecloths, furnishing objects. They are also ideal for little creations like potpourri bags or bonbonnières (especially the two gift-ideas). Our catalog includes actually some series of these "duets", like the "Monochromes": only one color for eight nice different motifs, among hearts, strawberries, houses, alphabets and Greek frets! Among these charts of a single color, there is the "Laura" Sampler. Why don't you embroider it for a friend with this name? But the beauty of cross-stitching relies on the fact that you are completely free to express your creativity. If you like this Sampler and you're good enough with the stitches, you can easily replace "Laura" with your name.
