The Little House Needleworks is used to define itself as a "whimsical" enterprise. This adjective represents in a few syllables the essence of all the work by LHN: fantasy, extravagance, but also simplicity. "Whimsical" means in fact eccentric but naive, original but feasible... well, as usual, English is much more shorter and diect that Italian language! And these "whimsical" characteristics are well evident in the last products by LHN, that we have insterted in our catalog some days ago: the Ornaments of the Month. As the name suggests, these are decorations that each month LHN produces taking inspirations from seasons, climate or year feasts. Like the "Fa-La-La" for the month of December, clearly inspired to Christmas. In this little picture, Diane Williams, designer for LHN, embroiders on cappuccino colored fabric two girls singing some carols. Some little beads by Mill Hill (02063) decorate the background like butcher's broom. Miss Williams suggests using the following DMC threads: 221, 433, 801, 945, 3051, 3052, 3371 and 3865. A little anticipation on the next Ornament by LHN: a yellow fruit for a juicy sampler :-)
