Practical both for keeping the diagram on the board and for following it.

I bought it to use it along with the slate DMC. for the combination does not work, in the sense that if resting on a vertical or inclined surface, the light hits the side of the ruler and creates a dark shadow on the diagram, therefore magnifies but makes everything dark. If used on a scheme supported on the table there the problem 'because the light falls perpendicular with no shadows. D 2 starlets because I needed to x the slate.

Dear Graziella, hello :-) Surely, a more economic enlarged photocopy of a plastic magnifying ruler: and God forbid something else! For there are schemes already very large by itself like those of Mirabilia, to cite one famous example, that can not be photocopied further enlarged, except by special machines, whose photocopies are tutt 'other than economic. Also, if larger one fotocopiandolo scheme, you will be forced to force you to do various photocopies and various magnifications of different schema pieces ... And I do not know how much this is convenient, afterlife convenience :-) We respect fully your opinion, but this product offers a different possibility, compared with enlarged photocopies: if, for example, you have to bring your embroidery on the go, do not think is very convenient to travel with several sheets of enlarged photocopies, while with this ruler, you baster take your scheme and that's it :-) Finally, we must not forget that the ruler allows you also to remind us that you have embroidered, and to what extent the scheme have already embroidered: sure, you can do even segnandoti with a pencil, line by line on the your scheme (or enlarged photocopy), what you have already done ... I purchased it but can not find granch helpful: short and does not cover an area large enough to be able to follow the scheme smoothly for more than a minute. So it must move constantly.
