I do not recommend this flax, I bought it for an embroidery where there are many color changes and I am finding very badly !!! It 's too hard and very irregular pattern. The only plus color.

Dear friends, hello! I thank you for both reviews, albeit negative, because even for us anyway helpful to have feedback from our customers helps us to further improve our service :-) Let me, however, provide for an explanation, which I hope will serve to explain, at least in part, the defects that you have encountered. We start from the rigidity that feature the fact that this linen, also for packaging reasons (as you probably remember, packed folded into a flat envelope) specially starched and can not deny that also famous for this: for example, between embroiderers who do not use the frame, just because it is quite hard, but it is embroidered, without having to stretch the frame. For softer, I suggest you choose, in the future, the Zweigart linen or an Italian linen, like that of Gratian, who are very nice and soft ... And that, precisely because most soft, are also more difficult to sew: and I assure you that this made us come from various feedback from our customers, as well as I have noticed the same, that only embroidery on linen, and I tried them a little 'all, with the most diverse subjects (by Lavender & Lace angels, to more geometric designs, like those typical of 'Engadine, for example). As regards, however, irregular crosses, I'm afraid that you're just a little 'unfortunate in the sense that, being a natural fiber flax 100% can happen that the weave is not perfect, but not because of 'manufacturer, but precisely because - like all natural fibers - linen tends to "give " some "elasticity on the bias " which may in fact even offset the texture done with more care painstaking. This happens - rarely - but it happens, with natural fibers (tant 'true that, for example, with the lugana, which contains 50% of synthetic viscose in its composition, the problem does not exist). To this, is added the fact that very often the different dyes have different effects on the fibers: in fact, both have worked on a linen of the same green color, very probably coming from the same color bath. As evidence of this, I can assure you that the red linen, or the dark, to the touch is quite different from that of other colors, although the same kind of linen. All of these factors, at times, help produce linens with plots a little 'less regular than others ... For it also said that, I think, in a way we "part of the game ": in meaning that the embroidery done by hand and on natural fiber 100% precious right also for the 'any "flaw ", ever present, on the contrary, the machine-made embroidery and on fabrics which contain a synthetic percentage. So, I hope that you will still need to be satisfied with your work and to take any crosses a little 'irregular as a ' further evidence of your hand work performed, which are certain, it is worth to be proud: - ) of course, for any future choice on the linen to be used for other embroideries we are pleased to help and ... Keep us know your valuable opinions! Best wishes and see you soon :-)

I have not been happy to embroider on this linen, the plot too erratic and the spreaders are not equal.
