Usually when we talk about embroidery two are the countries which seem to be the leaders: France and USA. But on the cross-stitch market there are also some wonderful European and extra-European realities which challenge the French and the American monopoly.
Among these enterprises here is the Riolis, based in Russia but ready to conquer all the stitching world. The protagonists are some wonderful landscapes, colors and motifs, flowers, animals but also kits to make napkins, pillows etc.

A real leader in the Russian market, the Riolis proposes a lot of reproductions, other than churches and Saints icons. More particular are the "byzantines" Mother of God and Der heilige Nikolaus: these embroideries seem to come directly from an orthodox church.
