There's a famous Italian way of saying, sounding more or less like "he who sows the wind, reaps the storm"... but let's forget it and turn it in something like "he who sows signs of love, should definitely reap mirth and all the best"! We guess that's exactly what Kate - the founder and designer of Bothy Threads - must also have thought, when she created her pattern for our charity. And, so sweetly and wittily at the same time, Kate has played with the assonance between the two English verbs "sow" and "sew", thus turning the title of a very famous song of the late Eighties - "Sowing the seeds of Love", by Tears for Fear - into a message addressed to the all of us, fans of needle and thread: so, fans of "sewing" ;-)
The lively colors and that mirthful look characterizing all the models from Bothy Threads make the rest, delivering us a gorgeous subject, heralding positive ideas.
