What is the "Festa del Ricamo"?

In a recent post we have talked in general about the Events which from the year 2003 Casa Cenina has been organizing. With no doubts, the event which involves us the most is the Festa del Ricamo.
For the few of you that do not know what this Festa is, we'll shortly explain how it takes place.
Three years ago for Casa Cenina this new adventure has started: the protagonists of this Festa are the staff, some famous cross-stitch designers and, above all, our clients.
The Festa del Ricamo is an entire day consacrated to our common passion during which, in the Tuscan country, we invite some popular artists who can present to the public their new works.
Apart from a wide selection of our 60.000 products shown and sold in a real little market, some famous designers are at your disposal to sign their creations and to reveal some curiousities and secrets of their work.
So the Festa is a great occasion to finally meet each other, staff and clients united around some important names like those of the past years' guests: from Michael Powell to Isabelle Vautier, from Renato Parolin to Marie-Thérèse Saint Aubin...
These artists often honour us with new creations and little gifts all for you. Moreover, it is possible to pick personally your orders by avoiding the deivery expenses with the pick&pay service.
So why don't you take advantage of a nice spring day (usually the Festa takes place in a May or June Sunday) and make a tour in Tuscany and maybe finally meet the friends of the forum of the Casa delle Idee and then shake the hand of the artist who have created the embroideries hanging on the walls of your house?
