Rose Garden Rug

This charming rug design originated from an exquisitely intricate line drawing dating from late Victorian times. Four of the rugs sewn together make a very handsome carpet approximately 6ft (1.83m) square.
CANVAS: 12#/in (5#cm) Zweigart White de luxe canvas, 40 x 44” (102 x 113cm).
DESIGN (inc Border): about 33½ x 38in (85 x 96.5cm).
STITCH: Tent/Basketweave.
WOOLS: Appleton tapestry wool for the designs and crewel (4 strands) for the background, 40 colours.
