This isn't an estimate, but a clarification: the current number is 3799, so anyone starting a project that requires large quantities should check to see if they have enough skeins without the stitch or order some with the stitch after the number. The difference isn't as significant as in some reds that have undergone the same change, but since you have to make entire fields, it's best to avoid the blotchy effect...
