My Little Rudolph Christmas Card

A snowman peeping out from a knitted reindeer hat, complete with antlers, red nose, red scarf and twig arms, worked in cross stitch on ice blue Aida with back stitch for the outlines. The finished piece slots into the tri-fold card supplied, which folds behind the stitching to frame it neatly.

The small format makes it a project you can finish in a few evenings, even if you are fairly new to counted work. The Lana threads add a soft, fluffy texture to the details. Beyond the kit you only need small scissors and, if you like to keep the fabric taut, a little hoop. Packaging is plastic free.
