Santa's Sled Squad

Santa slides down a snowy slope on a wooden sledge, joined by two sheep in a red hat and a striped scarf, among the pine trees. The design comes from an original artwork by Lucy Pittaway and is worked from a counted chart on Aida: cross stitch fills the figures, back stitch outlines them and French knots finish the details.

The stranded cottons come ready sorted on an organiser, so the right shade is always easy to find. You will also need a hoop or frame and a small pair of scissors; the picture frame is not included. The square format suits a Christmas picture to pack away with the decorations and bring out each year.
