Description

Two mice among the mushrooms, from Hannah Dale's watercolours for the Wrendale collection. The fur asks for a little care with the shading, but the piece is worked almost entirely in full cross stitch, with some backstitch outlines and two French knots for the details.

The speckled background is already printed on the fabric, so there is no background to fill in and the work moves along faster than the size suggests. The threads come pre-sorted by colour on a card organiser, handy to keep beside the chart. You will also need a hoop or frame and a small pair of scissors; the picture frame is not included.
