Kitty Knit

Five cats settled into striped deckchairs with needles and wool in their paws, while the kittens play with the yarn rolling across the floor: a humorous Margaret Sherry design, long and narrow, that suits a space above a door, a shelf or a knitting corner.

It is worked on counted fabric following the chart: full cross stitch for the figures, back stitch for the outlines and the strands of wool, French knots for the small details. The threads come already sorted by colour, so you can start straight away; a hoop or frame and good light make the stitching easier. The frame is not included: with such an elongated shape, a made-to-measure one works best.
