A cool-toned portrait: a girl with long pale hair rests her face against the wolf at her side, among shades of blue, lilac and grey. There are many half-tones, and the grey fabric gives depth to the lightest areas, which are partly left unstitched.
The design is worked in counted cross stitch following the full-colour symbolic chart; the instructions are in English, German and French, while the chart reads the same in any language. The threads come already sorted and numbered on the organiser, so there is no sorting to do before you start. A hoop or frame and good lighting help with the many shaded areas; once finished, the piece is best framed.
