A Parisian breakfast scene, with a steaming cup, a croissant, little cakes and two inquisitive sparrows, the Eiffel Tower glimpsed through the curtains. The palette is soft, with plenty of whites and shaded greys over the pale background: a substantial piece, best suited to stitchers who are already comfortable with subtle colour changes and large areas of bare fabric.
The design is worked from the symbolic chart, usually with two strands of stranded cotton on the Aida. The frame is not included: you will also need a hoop or frame to stitch, and once finished the piece is worth having professionally mounted, ideally with a mount to set off the light background.
