A Christmas scene inside a glass globe: a little house with lit windows under the snow, a generous bunch of pink poinsettias with berries and pine cones, and hanging baubles and ornaments. The green fabric is left unstitched and acts as the background colour, so only the motifs are worked.
Everything you need comes in the box, threads included and already sorted on the organiser; you only need to add a hoop or frame and a small pair of scissors. It is worked in counted cross stitch from the full-colour symbol chart, usually with two strands of stranded cotton on 14 count Aida. The frame is not included: once finished, the piece can be framed and brought out as a Christmas decoration year after year.
