Night Tram

A night-time city scene: a lit tram in the middle of the street, shop windows and street lamps reflected on the wet road, a red double-decker bus and bare trees on either side. The black fabric sets off the warm lights and creates the evening mood without any need to stitch the whole background.

The chart is printed in full colour with symbols and the threads come ready sorted on the organiser, so you can start straight away. Good light helps when working on a dark ground, and a hoop or frame keeps the tension even; on 14 count Aida cross stitch is usually worked with two strands. The frame is not included: the finished piece can be framed with glass and a mount.
