A tropical scene in blues and lilacs: two parrots perched among the orchids, a third in flight and, through the haze, the stepped outline of a Mayan pyramid. The kit holds everything needed to stitch, threads included, already sorted on the organiser so the shades stay in order — handy in a design with this many colours and large blended areas of sky and foliage.
Cross stitch is worked over the squares of the Aida, counting from the chart; given the size, a large hoop or a scroll frame makes the work easier. The frame is not included: once finished, the panel can be framed, ideally with a mount so the stitches are not pressed flat.
