Description

A spray of hellebores in bloom: deep burgundy flowers at the front, soft white ones fading into the background and green leaves sweeping downwards. The design is worked by counting stitches on evenweave fabric, with a few long stitches for the stamens and the finer details.

Everything needed for the stitching is in the kit; the frame shown in the photo is not included, nor is a hoop or frame to work on, which is well worth having for a piece in this long horizontal format. Once finished, it suits a frame above a sideboard or a fireplace, and can equally be mounted on a stretched panel to hang.
