Description

A delicate portrait: the face of a girl with silvery-blue hair, with butterflies resting in her hair and on her shoulders. The pastel tones and the many shades of the skin call for careful chart reading, so this is a project for stitchers who already have some experience with counted cross stitch.

On 27 count fabric the stitches are usually worked over two threads with one strand of stranded cotton, which gives a soft, shaded effect; you will also need a hoop or frame and a sharp pair of embroidery scissors. The tall, narrow format suits framing: the frame is not included in the kit.
