A close-up portrait of a Siamese cat, its dark mask and bright blue eyes standing out against branches of dry leaves. The kit is complete: along with the fabric and the threads already sorted on the organizer you get the needle and a large-square chart, easy to follow even if you have little experience of counted cross stitch.
Work the crosses with two strands of stranded cotton and the long stitches with one, so the fur and whiskers keep their softness. The frame is not included: you will also want a hoop or frame and a small pair of embroidery scissors. Once finished, the portrait looks its best framed, on its own or with a pale mount.
