Description

A rooster with blue, rust and golden plumage stands in a field of ripe wheat dotted with red poppies. It is a good-sized design with plenty of shading, so it takes some patience, but the chart is printed on large squares and stays easy to follow throughout.

Evenweave is stitched over two threads for each cross and gives a regular finish, similar to Aida but softer to handle. A hoop or frame and a small pair of embroidery scissors make the work more comfortable. The frame is not included: once finished, wash the fabric, press it face down and have it framed, ideally with a mount so the stitching does not touch the glass.
