A walk through colours

A path running through a garden in full bloom and disappearing into the hills at sunset: a softly shaded design, with many colour changes in the petals and in the sky. It is worked on evenweave fabric, usually over two threads for each cross, and finished with a few long stitches and with french knots that give texture to the flower centres.

The kit holds everything needed to stitch it, including the DMC threads already sorted on the organizer; you only need a hoop or frame and a small pair of scissors. No frame is supplied: the finished piece is wide and horizontal, and looks good framed as a picture.
