On The Forest Glade

A summer still life: a generous bouquet of wild flowers with daisies, cornflowers and wheat ears, next to a wicker basket brimming with blueberries. The many shades of green, yellow and blue give the piece real depth, and both the size and the colour count suit stitchers who already have some experience of counted work.

You stitch from the symbolic chart onto the light green Aida, usually with two strands of cotton. A hoop or frame is not included and is well worth having to keep a piece this size evenly tensioned. The frame shown in the photograph is not part of the kit: the finished picture needs to be framed separately.
