Description

A lighthouse catching the first light of day, with a sandy path running down between dune grasses and seaside flowers: a wide design worked entirely in counted cross stitch from a full colour chart with symbols. The 44 shades come ready sorted on the thread organiser, so the right tone for the sky and water gradations is easy to find.

Aida 16 count has a fine weave: good light helps, and a magnifier or a frame to keep the fabric taut makes the work easier. The fabric margin around the design leaves room for finishing; a frame is not included and is best chosen once the stitching is done, as the landscape format suits a hallway or a spot above a sideboard.
