Description

A golden October by the lake: a birch tree in the foreground, woods turning red and orange, mountains behind and a flight of birds across the sky. The kit holds everything needed to work the design in counted cross stitch, threads included and already sorted by colour on the organiser, so you can begin straight away.

It is a large design with plenty of shading, best suited to stitchers who already feel at home with counted cross stitch and enjoy a long project. On 16 count Aida the design is usually worked with one or two strands of stranded cotton, following the symbol chart. A hoop or frame and a small pair of scissors make the work easier; the picture frame is not included and can be chosen once the stitching is done.
