A corner of late September: a small brick house almost hidden by ivy and maples already turning red, with lamps marking the path. The palette shifts from green to orange, so it helps to work in blocks of colour following the symbolic chart and to keep the threads on the organiser supplied.
Aida 16 count is a close weave: it is usually stitched with one strand of stranded cotton, and good light (and a magnifier if needed) makes it easier. The kit contains everything needed to stitch the design, frame excluded. A hoop or frame is handy to keep the fabric taut. With its upright format, the finished piece works well as a framed picture.
