Baltic serenity

A Baltic shore at first light, with the boat pulled up among the dunes, a wooden boardwalk and two chairs facing the rising sun. The long panoramic format and the many pale shades, from the pinks of the sky to the greens of the dune grass, suit stitchers who already have some experience of counted cross stitch and enjoy soft colour blending.

Aida 16 has a fine weave, so good light and a hoop or frame help a great deal. The threads come ready sorted on the organiser, so you can start straight away following the colour-symbol chart. Finished, the piece looks best framed in landscape format; the frame is not included.
