A quiet winter scene in soft tones: snow resting on the wooden fence, bare branches and a few coloured berries to warm things up. It is worked in counted cross stitch following the full-colour symbolic chart, usually with two strands of stranded cotton on 16 count Aida; the antique white fabric shows through in the lightest areas and gives the snow its glow.
The threads come ready sorted by colour on the organiser, so you can start straight away. You will also want a hoop or frame and good lighting, which helps on a fine count like this. The frame is not included: once finished, the piece can be framed to size.
