Description

A formal garden scene: two peacocks by a fountain, the larger one trailing its long tail over the water, a vase of pink roses in the foreground and a classical temple among the trees behind. Part of the light blue fabric is left unstitched and reads as sky, so there is less stitching to do and the finished piece stays bright.

The 42 colours come already sorted and numbered on the organiser, which helps on a project of this size; following a symbol chart does call for some experience. Work with a hoop or frame, using two strands of stranded cotton on Aida. The frame is not included: the finished embroidery can be mounted to measure.
