Description

A shaggy little donkey with a dusting of snow between his ears looks straight at you, while three robins keep him company: a Christmas design by Hannah Dale, worked with all the soft shading of fur and feathers.

The background of the fabric is already printed with the snow flurry, so there is no sky to stitch and the work grows quickly. It is all full cross stitch, with back stitch for the outlines and a metallic thread for a few sparkling highlights. The cottons come pre-sorted and numbered on an organiser, which helps with the many greys and browns. The frame is not included; a hoop or stretcher frame is useful while stitching.
