Three friends balanced on top of each other: the hamster at the top, the guinea pig in the middle and the rabbit holding them all up, drawn by Hannah Dale with the soft, slightly comic touch that marks out her animals. The background is already printed with a speckled wash, so only the animals are stitched and the work grows quickly.
You stitch by counting the squares of the Aida: full cross stitch for the figures, backstitch for the outlines and the finer fur. The threads come ready sorted by colour on a card organiser, so you can start straight away; you only need a hoop or frame and scissors. The frame shown in the photo is not included.
