Description

A whole Halloween scene built inside the outline of a high-heeled shoe: pumpkins for sale, ivy climbing up to a haunted house, a black cat and a ghost drifting above the sign. The design is worked on white Aida following the symbol chart, with a few fractional stitches to soften the outlines, back stitch for the details and French knots for small raised accents.

It is a fair-sized project, better suited to stitchers who have already finished a counted piece or two. You will also need a hoop or frame and small scissors, and the frame shown is not included. Once complete, it looks good framed as a seasonal decoration.
