A Christmas scene with two mice working as a team to hang the baubles: the larger one, balancing on his friend's back, can just reach the top branches. The woodland background is already printed on the Aida, so the setting stays soft and airy and only the characters are stitched, which makes the piece grow faster than its size suggests.
Besides cross stitch the design uses back stitch for the outlines plus lazy daisies and French knots for the details, all explained in the instructions. A frame is not included: the finished square looks good framed even without a mount, or it can be made up as a cushion or a hanging panel. You will also need a hoop or frame and small scissors.
