Description

A woodland winter scene, with two squirrels looking at each other through the prickly holly leaves. The speckled printing on the fabric already suggests falling snow, while the sparkle threads add a little shimmer to the flakes. The design is worked by counting from the chart, with back stitch for the outlines and French knots for the small details.

Everything needed for the stitching is in the box, but the frame is not included; a hoop and a pair of embroidery scissors are useful too. It is a generously sized piece, best suited to stitchers with some experience of counted work, and it makes a lovely framed picture for Christmas.
