Description

A stag standing still among branches and wild flowers, lit by the halo of a full moon: the design comes from original artwork by Lizzie Spikes and is worked by counting the squares of the fabric and following the colour chart. Alongside cross stitch you will use back stitch for the outlines and the lettering, plus French knots for the small blossoms, both explained in the instructions.

Fabric, threads, needle and chart are all in the kit, so you only need a hoop or frame and a small pair of scissors. The tall format suits framing, at home or as a present for anyone fond of woodland and wildlife; the frame is not included.
