A wreath of pumpkins, toadstools and autumn leaves worked in counted cross stitch on Aida: you follow the chart square by square, starting from the centre, then add the small lazy daisies, back stitch for the finer outlines and the black beads with the fine needle supplied. The wooden disc and its gold bow are attached in the middle once the stitching is done.
A good project for anyone who has stitched a little before and would like to try beads and metallic threads. Besides the kit you will need small scissors and, if you prefer the fabric taut, a hoop or frame; a picture frame is not included. The round shape also suits mounting in an embroidery hoop as a hanging decoration.
