Bookmark - Feather and fluff flower (2)

Two bookmarks to work in counted cross stitch, with a few long stitches for the stems and the dandelion seeds: one shows dandelion clocks shaded in pink and blue, the other a pink and purple feather. The motifs are small and, although there are fifteen colours, each one covers only a handful of stitches, so the stitching moves along quickly.

The ribbon for the top is included, while a small hoop and a pair of embroidery scissors are useful to have at hand. Once finished, back the bookmarks with felt or card: they make a welcome gift for a reader and are a good first counted project.
