Dear Friends,
after our announce about the participation of Casa Cenina to the trade fair "Abilmente" in Vicenza, it's time to disclose to you the guests of our stand. Since we have no experiences of trades and showrooms (a part from the Aiguille en fête, to which we took part just to inaugurate and present the French version of our website), we have decided to get inspired by the most important and, obviously, most known event for us: the Festa del Ricamo. So we have decided to involve in this adventure some of the protagonists of the past editions of the Festa, artist which have been cooperating with us for years and who will help us to bring to Vicenza that professional and familiar atmosphere which distinguishes us.
Actually, as our Fest represents an occasion of a real meeting of artists, staff and clients, we have thought that this could be done also in Vicenza. So here are the names of the designers who will accompany us in this adventure: Annaïck Chauvel, Nimuë, Isabelle Mazabraud, Relfets de Soie, Marie Suarez and Isabelle Haccourt Vautier.
As you can notice, these are all francophone artists (3 French and 1 Belgian), chosen not only for the solid friendship and cooperation which already tie them to us, but also for a precise promotional and informative aim. In France, that of embroidery is a real business: embroiderers belong to a specific guild and their work is recognized as a real profession, like other artisans. Cross-stitch designers have a status comparable to that of fashion stylists and designers, which is actually unbelievable in Italy, until nowadays. So, we have decided to dedicate our space at Abilmente to four friends, so that we can export their personal professional and artistic path in Italy, with pieces of advice, opinions, personal experiences. So we have called this stand "Le Firme del Punto Croce" (The main brands of Cross-Stitch), internationally known names at your disposal for four entire days.
Post after post we will let you know from a closer prospective these artists and we will dedicate part of our blog just to the news about this event. Abilmente is already on!

non sono mai riuscita a venire alla festa del ricamo per lontananza o date concomitanti e finalmente.....riesco a conoscervi in occasione di questa fantastica kermesse!
la frequentiamo ormai da anni (siamo circa 80/90 amiche - veniamo in pullman) e di sicuro il vs stand sarà il primo che visiteremo! Fateci sapere padiglione e numero!
A ottobre quindi.....
