Our products: let's talk bout "in stock" and reviews

Hi everybody there!

Today, we've decided to use the webpages of our blog, to write a quick "service post": i.e., to explain to you all how some features of our website work and what they're exactly meant for. The first "let's talk" is about a brand new feature of www.casacenina.com, while the other one refers to a section that's been an important part of our website, since its very first days... For, let's say it clear, the Internet is a kind of wonder, though it can be sometimes not as easy as it seems to use! And we do think that, among our "duties" as "Internet insiders", there's also that of properly informing you on the mechanisms behind some features of our web.

So, let's talk about something we all think to be very important: the availability of products. To always give you more and more precise information about what you'd like to purchase in our website, as well as to try to minimize the expected times of delivery of the number of products included in our catalog, we have lately implemented a system, telling you "in real time" whether each item you're looking at, in Casa Cenina, is in stock So, here following, the detailed meaning of the indications you can find on any product of ours:

1. "Immediately available": this means the product is "physically" in our warehouse and our girls, if you're ordering it, can simply get it and place it into your parcel, as soon as your order is being processed. Since our stocks are obviously managed by a special software, there may be just an exception to this: i.e. that the item, especially if it's quite small, can have slipped down a shelf and under it and/or got lost in one of the many corners of our warehouse... Therefore, even though the item is displayed as "immediately available". when our girls physically fetch it, they discover, unfortunately, it isn't ... But, in this case, stay reassured that we'll always inform you!

2. "Available": it means the item is not "physically" located in the warehouse, which we ship orders from, but - for logistical reasons and to better manage the our spaces - it is in another warehouse and can consequently take a little longer to be delivered: i.e. about a week, usually, as indicated. This is because we have to move it from the above-mentioned warehouse to that, which shipments leave from. A typical example is that of Hobbs battings that we started to distribute in as sole agents from the beginning of the New Year Due to the typical volumes of this kind of merchandise, their logistics is managed in another warehouse.

All other products of ours can show two more types of caption.
The former one reads "Available in XXX days" and means we're giving you an average, expected time of delivery of this product to our warehouse, based on the detailed information we get from our major suppliers - on a daily or weekly basis - with the regards to the availability and in-stock amount of any item.
The latter - "Temporarily Unavailable" - depends on the fact that the suppliers themselves cannot give us any 100% sure news about the chance of getting that product back in stock. As a consequence, we cannot give you any guarantee about getting that product back in stock (if and when!) and, therefore, when you are displayed "Temporarily Unavailable", our system doesn't even give you the chance of placing that item into your shopping cart: in fact, we prefer not to let you rely on purchasing anything, sooner or later, and be then forced to let you wait for weeks, or, even worse, have to tell you, in the end, that you're not going to get that item, for it has been discontinued.

The second subject of this quite "bulky" post is about our section called Reviews.

This area of our website has been conceived to be reserved exclusively to your comments and opinions on the products you have bought and crafted, sometimes working for weeks and weeks
We have never "censored" any opinion (and never will!), for we firmly believe, even negative comments must be taken as hints to always go on improving!

However, we have recently seen a growing number or "reviews" that have nothing to do with commenting this or that product, telling whether you've been satisfied or disappointed with it: but that's exactly what we're asking you to freely tell us in the "Reviews" section!!! While, if you have any question or doubt about anything, please never hesitate to email us at: [email protected]

This isn't certainly because we want to "skate over" your questions but just the opposite: emailing us, enables us to give you more comprehensive and punctual answers! But, even more important, that's because our and your "Reviews" section deserves to stay exclusively dedicated to your considerations on our products, for that's exactly what it ahs always been meant for!
